Growing up in a small town with lots of family close by made family functions a way of life. Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Easter, birthdays, Sunday nights at the racetrack instilled a family-oriented belief in me. Even when I went off to college, I regularly returned home for family functions. Now that I have kids of my own, I can appreciate what that time meant to me. As my children get older, I have reached a juncture in life that called for a change. I rediscovered my love of art through photography and then melded my love of pictures with my love of family.
